Nutrition
In order to restore balance in the system we look at what needs to be done for the physical body in the area of nutrition, focusing on any areas of deficiency or excess. Relying on basic typologies such as blood type, glandular body type and metabolic type we are able to design a basic nutrition plan to help with weight problems, but also to improve the biological terrain – our physical body – in order to promote healing. Vitamins, supplements, super foods, tissue salts – there are many interesting solutions out there that may be beneficial for the patient.
Water
Water is very important to all bodily functions. Proper digestion, elimination and fluid circulation (lymph, blood, bile) depend on an adequate amount of water.
Dehydration can create symptoms that resemble a wide variety of diseases including IBS, depression, ulcers, high blood pressure, etc. The cheapest and most simple of therapies is to drink more water! Clean spring water is a rarity in our modern society. The next best is to use one of many purification methods and filters or to buy quality bottled spring water.
Air / Exercise
A minimum of 30 min brisk walk twice a day or its equivalent is necessary to maintain good circulation and general fitness. Different types of people and health conditions benefit from different types of exercise.
Clean air, of course, is most important, but outdoors "living" air - even if polluted – is better than what we breathe indoors.
Sunshine is also very important to us - to charge our inner batteries and to help fight depression, MS, and other disorders.
Sleep
During sleep our system regenerates its tissues, works on proper drainage and detoxification. During sleep our organs go through cycles of activity, one after the other, cleansing and restoring their tone.
Insomnia, interrupted sleep, waking un-refreshed, are typical indications of a disturbance in the system and our body’s attempts to resolve it. With homeopathic remedies and specific exercises we can counter the lack of sleep until healing and the resolution of disease processes restores healthy sleep cycles.
Coition
Although not something we are used to discussing freely, our sexual life is important for maintaining our generative/creative energy in a healthy flow. Sexual problems can create serious blocks in our system leading to a long list of health problems as a result. Health is the basis for resonant and fulfilling relationships and creativity. A healthy sexuality and a renewed flow of creative inspiration is one of the beneficial results of our treatment and one if its main goals.
Drainage
Waste matter and toxins are eliminated through the colon, kidneys and the usual channels of elimination. Proper function of our digestive system is necessary for this activity to take place in a regular manner.
Liver toxicity is one of the main complaints nowadays, along with gallbladder and kidney problems. Part of the treatment process is to promote and maintain good drainage of all organs in the body, especially at times when we expect to be detoxifying.
Detoxification
Toxicity is a result of inner systemic imbalances and disease. It can be created by toxins introduced with food and contemporary environmental materials, through iatrogenic trauma like vaccines, x-rays, drugs; it can also be produced by our own body when its basic processes have been impaired by disease.
Toxicity can also be part of the healing cycle when dead tissue and bacteria are flushed out of the system through a variety of discharges and through the bowel.
Homeopathic remedies, herbs and therapeutic methods like colonics, chelation, electrolysis, zappers, can be used to assist natural detoxification and to make it less stressful for the body. A spring and fall cleanse/detox is conducted as part of the treatment, for all patients.
